With that said, I love good dirty drum sounds, and I’ve been collecting drums for over 20 years. The original Fresh Baked Breaks were processed using a MX70 Reel to Reel tape machine and a Burl b2 bomber for conversion, passing the audio through 60’s preamps, a 70’s analog console, Neve summing, Calrec compression, and class A EQ.
In total, this pack includes 200 one-shots in 24/96 and 16/44 in both stereo and mono WAV file formats, giving you plenty of options for your beats

The goal was to put together a collection of one shots that would have all of the elements you need to create a full production: melody, texture, bass, and drums. Each sound has been kissed by multiple outboard fx (SP202, SP303, Zulu, SSL Fusion, Moog, and Elektron Heat) old and new guitar pedals, and multiple tape decks (Tascam 388, Tascam 424, and a dictaphone). Guitar, Bass, Drums, vocals, and hardware synths have all gotten the full treatment here.
In addition to unearthing some drum gems from his productions from the past few years, Agent-X has created a new and exciting sound palette for producers to expand on their creativity. This is how we chill from 93 til… A Golden year in the Golden era of Hip Hop was marked with producers sampling old jazz records sonically creating a new hybrid sound. With the 1993 Sample Pack we recreated a moment in time with elements that are prime for chopping up. Jazzy melodies and chord composition with grand piano and keyboard textures, xylophone/marimba chiming accent lines, melancholy yet vibing acoustic double bass lines, and dizzying soloing from a new featured instrument—the saxophone. We gave some diverse arrangements with each track giving you so many moments to choose from or to just simply drag and drop in a loop. In the spirit of the Kendrick’s and J. Cole’s keeping this sound alive, we know with this pack you’ll have the tools to craft a new hit with that touch of old jazz.
